Our department is divided in three research groups, which follow different lines of research.

One is sensory physiology, mainly focussing on thermo- and hygroreception and olfaction in various arthropod model systems.

The second is mainly dealing with the visual system of spiders, focusing on colour,  form, motion and depth perception.

The third will come soon (developmental neurobiology of arthropod sensory systems).
